Mission "We, the sworn protectors  of the citizens of Greenwood County, define our mission as the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office. We pledge to enforce the laws of our county, state, and nation within the boundaries  of our prescribed  authority,  displaying  at all times Profession alism and P.R.I.D.E. ; Partnershi p, Respect, Integrity,  Dedication , and Equality in enforcemen t of laws which our positions require. We will seek continuous  and advanced training to ensure that we will always provide capable and profession al law enforcemen t to all citizens, showing no discrimina tion. We will stand with courage to face all situations  and offenders that threaten the rights, property, and life of our citizens as we have sworn our obligation .
